SUPERCROSS? well it's 2 wheels isn't it?

Yea it's that time of year when the AMA Supercross makes it's annual debut at Aneheim, Ca. Ok ok I know I write and talk about cycling and other stupid, non-important somtimes cutting edge, boring yet unique, related to nothing, useless although helpful, so yesterday but sometimes current stuff, but people (2) are reading it so I keep writing it. It may not be things that a person needs to know but I shoot for entertainment mostly here at command central HQ of Scooby's Snacks.

As usuall James (I have no brain) Stewart won. I swear this guy has to be the fastest guy to ever have raced a motocross bike but can't keep his head connected mentally for a complete season. At least he's stayed outta jail unlike most of the NBA or Tennessee collegiate football team. I usually pick one rider and try to keep up with him and give him my support throughout the season. I used to travel to Atlanta, Ga. every year for the SX in the dome but I have been slacking for the last couple of years. I may attempt it this year, maybe not. As long as Stewart wins everything in sight the racing is boring....

2010 Anaheim practice

Stewart wins again , yawn.....

Mr. Villopoto, I thought he was the next star.

This is who I'm putting all my eggs in one basket for....#5 Dungey!

I wish this guy still had it! Mike Brown, I grew up with him and raced with him during "his learning years" when he raced 80's and 125's. I still get to see him on occasion when he rides the road with us but mostly he's out of town racing somewhere. He can flat out hammer on a road bike too!!!He's still fit as a fiddle (Tn. slang)

I agree, Stewart does make SX boring to watch but its not his fault. He can't help that he's faster than everyone else. It would be interesting to see what would happen if you had every ride on identical bikes (much like Nascar). Then it would come down to pure skill. If you've watched any SX races you know what I mean when I say that it seems like Stewarts bikes are that much faster. But like you said, he will falter later in the season and hopefully someone will be close enough in points to catch him. I'm thinking of hitting up Atlanta next month as well. I went 2 years ago and had a blast! Too bad you sold that badass Kawasaki you had.

I miss that KXF monster/PC 250 I had but I didnt have time to ride it as much as I liked. Stewart still sucks, he could out ride all those guys on an 80 like Mikey used to though.

I watched it too. Hadn't watched an entire race in a long time. I was pulling for Chad and Dungey. Thought Dungey had it until he slipped a bit.

I really like Chad but he's done. I was thinking that maybe Stewart was just chillin and using his head for once and not having to lead every lap. We will see how Dungey does or if he just had a spark....

We're thinking about roadtripping up to Indy for the one on Feb. 20th. I'm pretty stoked for it.
