Whew my day was slam packed! I'm glad it rained because I now don't feel bad about not getting to ride. I had an exam this morning then more lectures in history. That exam kicked my arse! After test phobia I had to rush up to da bike shop and help B assemble 15 20"Haro Rockstar Energy bikes for some promotion they are fixing to hit the stores with. We looked like some factory whippin' these things out. Now they sit in the floor taking up space, I hope they get them soon!
I did get to assemble one of these! A Santa Cruz Tallboy 29er! This thing is PIMP! full carbon sweetness with a Shimano XT Dyna-Sys 10 speed drivetrain!!! It did not have the drop post as the one in the pic. A friend of mine from Asheville ordered this a few weeks back and it just came in this week. Every time I picked it up I was amazed at how light it was. Then, I could no longer stand it, so out came the scale....... 27.8lb. I was surprised that it weighed that much. This is one nice bike and I would love to ride it on a trail sometime. I called Capt. Dingo on the phone to drop the 411 and I could hear the slobber on the other end when I told him what was there.
