Cyclist Riding And Wanting Libation. Thats what that stands for. Last night 11 of us from the bike club got together and cruised around downtown and hit a few pubs and just hung out ,rode a little and had a good time. We first stopped at The Alley cat and had $2beers. I got some cheese fries to keep something on my stomach so I wouldn't get too loopy. What a mistake, I know better to eat crap like that! Those things didn't set well on my stomach at all. After the mandatory HALO pub and PBR stop I didn't want anything else. We eased to PR's and then to Bucks Pizza where everyone got some pizza and brews except me. I wasn't feeling all that good. I just had a tea. We dispursed after about 1am and I headed home. Woke up around 3am feeling like crap. Didn't get much sleep either. It was about 11am and I decided not to go to Bay's Mtn and work on the trails. The NTMBA and volunteers are building a new trail up there and today was a huge workday, I was bummed that I didn't feel like going. I basically sat here at the house and watched the Tour de France. It was a pretty good stage also. Cadel lost the yellow jersey and it looks as if its going to be an awesome finish this year. I'm finally feeling a litle better now. I hope to get some climbing in tomorrow in NC and maybe a couple of easy rides in to keep the legs fresh before the ORAMM (Off-Road Assault on Mt. Mitchell) thats this sunday the 27th. I need to get at least 3 1\2 miles running in sometime between now and then also.
