CX NATIONALS (part 2)

Madison's weather was rare while we were in attendance. Although it was quite cold to we Tennesseans we were assured that it's usually very windy and snow blowing sideways. The day I raced the course was totally frozen. The other days it somewhat thawed at least the first inch of permafrost was. Here are a few pics of some of the local East Tn racers that also traveled up there....

Dr. Seek!

Some had more difficulty than others... a lot more!

Nolan after a pit stop for a clean bike

2 inches of slop on frozen SOLID ground! If you went down, which most did, it felt as if you landed on concrete... no joke!

Dwayne taking care of business!

Aaron in Collegiate Div 2 race

Everyone did great for the conditions. Sadly I could not find any pics of me... boo hoo. This race was more for conditioned athletes and ones that had skill. You could easily spot true roadies in the slick conditions. I had a ton of fun and hope to attend this next year. For the other 1,148 pictures click here to take you to photobucket. Be patient until they are all loaded then enjoy the several hours of upload time by yours truly...
