Mountain Biking is More Dangerous?

Watch at 1:08 where the guy tries (key word) to bunny hop the downed referee.... What about the confused moto-refs, no dividers or cones in the 2-way section? Can you say cluster f&%$#????? The sheriff's deputy seemed to do the best although he probably had no experience at this. At 1:17 this race should have been stopped by the moto-ref and called in a course closed with a ref still on the tarmac along with a rider now. #fail. I'm researching to see if I can find out any more info. Near the end of the video it looks as if the race was neutralized or something.

I would hate to have been the chief ref after all this went down. Somebody has some explaining to do...

I just had to post this after all the roadies were telling me tht mountain biking is more dangerous than road riding or racing. Oh how those guys make me chuckle....
