LAst night I got off from Hampton a little late. I wasn't able to get to ETSU by 630 to get warmed up for short track so I opted out and took the role of heckler ( which I suck at). There wasn't alot of peeps there this week. All the 'fast' (cat 1 XC guys) were a no show except for one and he just cruised to a victory. I was proud of Aaron though. He's been steadily progressing since he's been coming. I'm not as eloquent with the English language as he is but he's doing quite well as of late. Greg and Brian also showed. I think it was Brian's first time, sounds like a virgin huh? Not, he's a strong rider but he didn't have anything for Eric. Eric easily rode to 1st place to win a nice bottle of 2009's finest $5 champagne. Congrats Eric! Mr. Thomas was there in attendance as well and after repeatedly cutting the course and making the short track ''HIS'' we were informed that we will soon be treated to some blogging from the "TRIXIE" man himself! That's like getting notice of a presidential news conference in my small but humble opinion. Can't wait!!!! Angie met me there after it was all over. Then we met Greg and Melinda at Jack's for some nice adult beverages along with some taste bud tantalizing quesadillas.....good times!
Saturday the first ever Buffalo Mountain TT will be ran at 10am. I'm kinda sorta trying my hand at setting and arranging this rogue little race. It's very informal though. Not even big enough that you could label me as the promoter. So far I have had several folks say that they are attending. I would like to get at least 20! I think I may have that already. Good times ahead I hope!! I have a little surprise for the riders too. They may choose to partake in this little surprise if they wish or decline, it's up to them. It would benefit each one to partake though, time bonuses will be given if they do! Well, I better get ready to turn some wrenches at ye ole Hampton trails, peeps needin' some bike work yo!
LAter G........................
PS: Greg, Brian and myself are on blogging alert by M.T. we must post more he says. Be on the lookout for more mindless ramblings. I'm giving this warning in advance.

Keep the pirate promotions coming they're more fun than the real deal! This area needs some more fun. Here's an idea for you, an Alley Cat race around JC, think CRAWL route with beverage stops and singletrack thrown in. Could be interesting and who knows maybe you'll pull off the real deal soon.
